Dr. Ellen M. Dziedzicki

Dr. Ellen M. Dziedzicki

Dr. Ellen M. Dziedzicki is the owner and practicing veterinarian at Faithful Friends Veterinary Care. Dr. Ellen earned her veterinary degree in 1995 from the University of Pennsylvania after completing undergraduate studies at Penn State. She practiced in upstate New York for 5 years before moving to Central PA where she practiced in a local mixed animal practice for the last 13 years. She enjoys not only the medical aspect of veterinary practice but also getting to know the clients and their furry family and has made some great friends. Dr. Ellen enjoys working with all furry domestic pets and has been known to delight in the grumblings of some sassy cats. On the medical side of practice, she takes a special interest in soft tissue surgery and ophthalmology, the study of eyes. Dr. Ellen and her husband have 2 children, and also share their home with 3 dogs, 4 cats, one naughty house rabbit, and a collection of assorted poultry. Outside of work, Dr. Ellen enjoys gardening, baking, hatching poultry eggs, just being outdoors and spending time with her family.

Dr. David H. Allgeier

Dr. Dave was born and raised in Ohio, which may explain the Ohio State shirts in his wardrobe. He went to Swarthmore College near Philadelphia and has been in Pennsylvania since then. He earned his VMD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, then practiced briefly in western Pennsylvania before moving to central PA with his wife in 1999. Dr. Dave worked for 14 years in mixed practice and almost four years in emergency practice before coming to Faithful Friends in January 2015. He has special interest in emergency medicine, helping owners manage their pets weight for health and longevity, and improving the lives of all of our pets through good preventive care. With three teenagers at home, he enjoys the peace and quiet of barking dogs and meowing cats at the clinic. In his spare time, he likes to walk his dogs, fish and play baseball with other mature players in the Old Man's League. He tries to run as often as possible, and he finds himself able to spend much more time running while still covering the same distance as he did in previous years.
